No. CVS-39-26-00011-P PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE State Administrative Pro- cedureAct, NOTICE is hereby given of the following proposed rule: Proposed Action: Amendment ofAppendices 1 and 2 of Title 4 NYCRR. Statutory authority: Civil Service Law, section 6(1) Subject: Jurisdictional Classification. Purpose: To delete a position from the exempt class and to classify a posi- tion in the non-competitive class. Text of proposed rule: Amend Appendix 1 of the Rules for the Classified Service, listing positions in the exempt class, in the Executive Department under the subheading “Office of Information Technology Services,” by deleting therefrom the position of Chief Information Officer (1); and Amend Appendix 2 of the Rules for the Classified Service, listing positions in the non-competitive class, in the Executive Department under the subheading “Office of Information Technology Services,” by increasing the number of positions of Information Security Manager from 11 to 12.
