Subject: The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) is holding a public workshop to gather input on potential modifications to commercial and recreational management measures for African pompano in Florida state waters and adjacent federal waters. FWC staff are seeking input on all African pompano regulations, including but not limited to definitions, size limits, bag limits, gear specifications, and additional applicable regulations encompassed by the above-cited rules. During the virtual workshop, staff will present on African pompano and potential rule changes.
