The effect of these rule changes would be to modify management measures for African pompano in Florida state and federal waters, as well as to move rules regarding African pompano from Chapter 68B-35, F.A.C., to a new rule chapter, Chapter 68B-66, F.A.C. SUBJECT: The subject areas to be addressed in the rule development include potential modifications to definitions, size limits, bag limits, gear specifications, and other applicable regulations for African pompano encompassed by the above-cited rules.
