Summary
In conjunction with the repeal of Part 204 and amendments to Part 207, this rulemaking updates the State Board of Elections' rules governing voting systems to reflect recent developments in federal and State law. This new Part contains provisions previously located in 26 Ill. Adm. Code 204 (Approval of Voting Systems) and 26 Ill. Adm. Code 207 (Miscellaneous), with edits and changes to ensure that the rules reflect current Board procedures and requirements for the approval and ongoing use of voting systems in Illinois.
