What this rule does

The proposed rule amends regulations for driver training schools in Washington State to align with new requirements for young driver safety established by legislation from 2025. The updates do not impose additional costs beyond what is already mandated by existing laws and encourage, but do not require, the inclusion of online learning components in driver education courses.
