“This comment is submitted to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission's (NRC) proposed rule amending 10 CFR 72.214 to incorporate Amendment No. 10 to CoC No. 1032 for the Holtec HI-STORM FW System. The proposed rule contains four fatal administrative flaws: Impermissible Regulatory Arbitrage (10 CFR 72.48 Abuse): Transferring thermal evaluation methodologies, heat limits, and loading maps out of binding CoC Technical Specifications and into proprietary report HI-2210161-A allows future unreviewed changes under 10 CFR 72.48, violating public hearing rights under AEA Section 189a (42 U.S.C. 223...”

This proposal would enable the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) to approve changes to dry-cask requirements for a particular dry-cask design as if there was no potential impact on health and safety. According to the NRC's summary, the proposed chan...”

“I recommend not doing this as it does not sound safe. In general Americans do not trust the trump republicans based on their poor performance, corruption and incompetence. It is a good idea to shut the government down and investigate trump and the republicans. If we do shut the government down we should emergency hire the Biden and / or Obama administrations to fix all the problems and reinstitute regulations to protect the environment and all those who depend on it. Rushing into nuclear projects is dangerous and it is better to wait until we have clean, safe, nuclear fusion as an energy so...”
