This proposed amendment updates existing rules to prohibit political activities by employees in the classified service, ensuring that hiring or employment decisions are not influenced by an individual's political or religious beliefs. It allows employees to engage in political activities only during their personal time, while reinforcing that any violation of these provisions may result in forfeiture of their position.
