Under IC 4-22-2-23, notice is hereby given that on October 6, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. ET, at the Indiana Government Center South Conference Center, 402 West Washington Street, Conference Rooms 1 and 2, Indianapolis, Indiana, the Department of Labor (DOL) will hold a public hearing on amendments to 610 IAC 9-4-3 and 610 IAC 9-4-5 concerning IOSHA penalty reductions. The purpose of this hearing is to receive comments from the public prior to consideration of adoption of these rules by DOL. All interested parties are invited and will be given reasonable opportunity to express their views concerning the proposed amendments. If DOL does not receive substantive comments during the public comment period or public hearing, the rule may be adopted with text that is the same as or does not substantially differ from the proposed rule published in the Notice of First Public Comment Period. The public may attend the DOL's meeting in person or join by using Microsoft Teams and entering Meeting ID: 288 582 611 176 819 and Passcode: kn39s5FR or by entering the following in your computer's web browser: https://teams.microsoft.com/meet/288582611176819?p=v8vIRMxdIS2XG0VMvS.
