DATE AND TIME: Friday, August 28, 2026, 11:00 AM Big Cypress Basin Board Meeting PLACE: Collier County Board of County Commissioners Chambers 3299 Tamiami Trail East, 3rd Floor, Naples, FL 34112 Members of the public may participate and provide public comment in person or via Zoom, a media technology free for the public to use. Subject: This is a public meeting of the Big Cypress Basin Board to discuss and consider activities impacting the Big Cypress Basin of the South Florida Water Management District; approving the submittal of the millage rate for Fiscal Year 2026-2027, requesting the Governing Board of the South Florida Water Management District to levy ad valorem taxes within the Big Cypress Basin based on the rate to finance Basin functions contained in Fiscal Year 2026-2027 Basin budget; and submittal of the Fiscal Year 2026-2027 Basin budget to the Governing Board of the South Florida Water Management District for inclusion in the District’s budget. The public and stakeholders will have an opportunity to view and comment on the meeting by attending in person or utilizing the following link: https://sfwmd.link/4pedN52. The link will go live at approximately 11:00 AM on August 28, 2026.
