Establishing a process by which an eligible person or entity may petition the board for a waiver or creation of a pilot program from certain administrative rules or practice regulations. This process is intended to provide flexibility where strict application of a rule would result in undue hardship or unintended consequences that would negatively impact the citizens of Mississippi. The waiver/pilot process allows the opportunity for demonstrations of less restrictive mechanisms to ensure public safety in accordance with policies set by the Mississippi legislature
