Chapter 11 of the Commission’s rules establishes base requirements for gambling games that are authorized by the Commission. The chapter authorizes some specific gambling games by rule and provides other parameters for promotional tournaments, table games, and slot machines. The chapter also contains licensing standards and parameters for manufacturer and distributor licensees and applicants. The proposed rulemaking consolidates, reduces, or eliminates some rules in accordance with Executive Order 10. In addition, the proposed rulemaking includes some new or expanded provisions related to game variations, promotional activities, gambling game tournaments, allowable wagers and payout limitations, and progressive jackpot games. Even with these additions, the proposed rulemaking results in a net reduction in both number of rules and overall word count from the current version of Chapter 11. 1.
