What's covered today
We publish exactly what we hold — no fabricated coverage. Each country has its own hub with live counts and freshness.

How fresh is it?
International sources sync on the same tiered cadence as the U.S. — the closer a chamber is to a live feed, the faster we re-check it. Every country hub shows a "last synced" line per jurisdiction, so you always see the freshest data each source offers. We never guess: a chamber that publishes daily totals reads as daily, not a misleading "live."
Facts, not files
Our international data is built the same way as our U.S. data: we read official public sources and extract the facts — bill identifiers, sponsors, actions, votes, members — then re-model them into our own schema, rather than redistributing anyone's proprietary files. Legislative records are public facts; we structure and index them. This facts-not-files posture is what lets us stand up a new country cleanly and keep coverage honest.
Region gating in the API (?country=)
U.S. data is the always-free base — every account and every API tier can read it. International
coverage is a paid capability, metered by region. In the Bill Radar API, pass a
?country= parameter
(the ISO-ish two-letter code — us,
ca,
au,
gb) to scope a request to a
region. A request for a region your plan doesn't include returns U.S.-only results — the gate
never opens up by accident. See the
developer docs
for the full parameter reference.
