Plain-language change summary

The amended version of Bill SB 869 maintains the requirement for schools in Pennsylvania to observe a moment of silence on September 11 to remember those who lost their lives during the attacks in 2001. Previously, the bill also included a moment of silence for December 7, Pearl Harbor Day, but this part has been removed. This change narrows the focus to September 11, emphasizing its significance while simplifying the requirements for schools.
