Plain-language change summary

The recent amendments to Bill SB 957 added provisions concerning the handling of penalties related to violations of the law, specifically stating that these fines will now go directly into the Veterans' Trust Fund. This change is significant because it ensures that funds collected from penalties are dedicated to supporting veterans, potentially providing more resources for their needs. Additionally, some editorial language was streamlined for clarity, but the main focus of the amendments centers on the financial support for veterans through these fines.
