Plain-language change summary

The changes to Senate Bill 351 involve the removal of lines that previously authorized the Secretaries of Health and Human Services to apply for specific federal funding to test a demonstration project related to global hospital budgets. By simplifying the language, the amendment clarifies the bill's purpose of establishing a task force to study global hospital budgets and make recommendations for federal funding. This streamlining helps ensure that the focus remains on gathering data and understanding the impacts of global hospital budgets, which could lead to better healthcare financing in the state.
