Plain-language change summary

The changes to Senate Bill 74 simplify its title by removing specific references to the "Emergency Powers Code" and the "Public Health Emergency Response Act," indicating a shift in focus or scope. Additionally, the detailed provisions about the termination and renewal of public health emergency orders were condensed or removed. This matters because it may streamline the bill's intent and make it easier for lawmakers to understand the overall objectives without getting bogged down in specific legislative language.
