Plain-language change summary

The recent amendment to SB 124 clarifies the definition of a "clean claim" for pharmacy claims submitted to health plans. This change simplifies the requirements that pharmacy providers must meet for their claims to be processed quickly, ensuring they are paid within 14 days for electronic submissions. This matters because it helps pharmacies receive timely payments, which can improve their cash flow and ultimately benefit patients by ensuring access to medications without unnecessary delays.
