What changed in the latest version
241 added · 178 removedPlain-language change summary
The updated version of House Bill 16 now includes a statement clarifying that the document may contain amendments that have been proposed but not yet adopted, as well as those that have been accepted. This change is important because it helps clarify the status of the amendments throughout the legislative process, ensuring transparency for lawmakers and the public. Additionally, the language emphasizing the temporary nature of the Rural Opportunity Committee has been removed, indicating a potential change in how the committee's existence might be viewed or managed in the future. This matters because it could affect how the committee operates and its long-term impact on rural issues in New Mexico.
