The recent amendment to Bill SB 202 introduces a provision for the registration of alternate business entity names in New Mexico. This change means businesses can now officially register additional names they may use, which helps clarify their identity and minimize confusion with other companies. This could make it easier for businesses to market themselves and protect their brand, ultimately supporting economic growth in the state.
