Plain-language change summary

The latest revision of Senate Bill 307 introduces a clearer structure by labeling sections more distinctly and adds specific references to school bus driving services and attendant salaries. This change is important because it ensures that the legislation explicitly outlines the responsibilities and compensation tied to school transportation, helping to provide better clarity and compliance for school districts and contractors regarding gross receipts tax payments. Overall, these changes aim to improve the management of school transportation services in New Mexico.
