Plain-language change summary

The changes to House Bill 191 include the removal of a detailed description about the legislative intent behind creating the Corrections Ombudsman office. This simplifies the bill by focusing on its title and purpose without elaborating on how it aims to improve corrections processes in New Mexico. This shift may streamline the legislative process, but it could also reduce clarity on the specific goals of the bill and its potential impact on the corrections system.
