The updated resolution enables remote participation for Senate members during public health emergencies, ensuring they can still conduct business safely. It also sets clear guidelines for maintaining social distancing and wearing masks among those present in the Senate. This change is important because it allows legislative work to continue while prioritizing the health and safety of all involved.
