Plain-language change summary

The updated version of Senate Bill 55 specifies an appropriation of $1 million for funding a land surveyor and a property attorney for the Land Grant Council, but it now limits the funding to a single fiscal year instead of spanning from 2021 through 2025. This change is significant because it clarifies the timeframe for the funding, making it a more immediate form of support, which could help address pressing land management needs more quickly.
