Plain-language change summary

Senate Bill 87 has been amended to increase the Working Families Tax Credit specifically for taxpayers who claim a dependent child under the age of six. This change means families with young children will receive a larger tax break, which could help alleviate financial burdens for those in need. By boosting support for these families, the bill aims to promote economic stability among working parents and enhance overall community welfare.
