The updated version of SB 69 adds language to clarify that the $2.5 million allocated for drinking water system financing will not revert back to the public project revolving fund at the end of each fiscal year if there are any unused funds. This change is important because it ensures that any remaining funds can be carried over and used in future years, which can help maintain and improve drinking water systems over a longer period.
