Plain-language change summary

The recent changes to Bill HB 92 introduce a new "Teacher Residency Act" that establishes a program aimed at training future teachers in New Mexico. This program will include clear eligibility and selection criteria for participants, as well as defined components for how it will operate. Additionally, it sets up a fund to support the implementation of the program. These changes are important because they help streamline the process for preparing new teachers, which can lead to improved educational outcomes in schools.
