The bill has been amended to include specific electric transmission facilities as eligible for support under the Industrial Revenue Bond Act. This change means that projects related to these facilities can receive financial assistance, which could help boost infrastructure improvements in New Mexico. Additionally, the amendment requires that part of the financial benefits from these projects be paid to the state and to local school districts, ensuring that communities gain some direct support from these developments. This could lead to improved resources for education and local services.
