The bill now specifies that photography, video, or audio recording is allowed in certain areas for accredited press members and the public, but only from designated seating or areas approved by committee leaders. Additionally, the chair and ranking member have the authority to pause these recordings to maintain order during meetings. This change is important because it clarifies how the media and public can document legislative sessions while ensuring they do not disrupt the proceedings.
