Plain-language change summary

The changes to Senate Resolution 1 include updates to the rules about how senators can prefile legislation. Senators can now prefile their bills with the chief clerk during regular business hours from January 1 until the Friday before the regular session starts, ensuring that these bills are publicly accessible and introduced within the first week of the session. This matters because it streamlines the legislative process and enhances transparency, making it easier for the public to be informed about upcoming legislation.
