What changed in the latest version
186 added · 181 removedPlain-language change summary
The latest version of SB 276 removed the specific purpose section that described the goals of the Office of Peacebuilding, such as training for conflict resolution and implementing educational curricula for peace. Instead, it added a section that creates the office and provides definitions for key terms related to peacebuilding, such as "restorative justice" and "dialogue process." This change emphasizes the establishment and operational clarity of the office, which could help streamline its functions and focus on its definitions and structure instead of its broader goals.
