Plain-language change summary

The updated version of Bill SB 84 adds specific definitions for "senior center" and "senior participant," ensuring clarity about who is eligible for participation in the programs. It emphasizes the role of senior centers in supporting seniors by allowing them to grow their own fruits and vegetables, which can improve the nutritional services provided. This change matters because it helps promote healthy eating among seniors while also fostering community involvement and engagement.
