Plain-language change summary

HB 41 has been updated to include additional professions in the Rural Health Care Practitioner Tax Credit, specifically adding pharmacists, social workers, and certain behavioral health therapists. This change is significant because it expands the range of healthcare providers eligible for tax credits, potentially attracting more professionals to rural areas where healthcare access can be limited. By incentivizing these practitioners to work in underserved regions, the bill aims to improve the overall health care landscape in New Mexico.
