The recent changes to SB 23 include the addition of specific terminology and definitions related to the "Fostering Connections Act." It now clearly defines who qualifies as an "eligible adult" in the transition from foster care, as well as financial support available to them. These updates are significant because they help ensure that young people aging out of foster care receive the support and resources they need to successfully transition into adulthood.
