The recent amendments to House Bill 99 clarify that once a professional or occupational license is issued, individuals will not need to resubmit their fingerprints for license renewal. This change is significant because it reduces the hassle and expense for license holders, making it easier for them to maintain their credentials without unnecessary paperwork. By streamlining the renewal process, the bill aims to encourage professionals to stay licensed and compliant.
