The recent amendments to SB 306 include the addition of provisions that allow the sale of wine, cider, and beer at private celebrations. This change clearly defines what constitutes a "private celebration," which could enable more social events to legally serve alcoholic beverages. Additionally, the bill permits winegrowers and small brewers to start sales on Sundays at 11:00 A.M., rather than the previously enforced later start time. These changes aim to support local businesses and enhance social gatherings by making it easier for people to enjoy these beverages at private events.
