The amendments to House Bill 45 include the addition of provisions that expand funding for instructional materials to private schools under certain conditions and require timely allocation of funding for these materials. Additionally, the bill now removes the Reading Materials Fund, which may streamline funding processes for public education. These changes aim to improve educational resources and ensure that schools receive necessary support when they need it, regardless of their status as public or private institutions.
