The bill SB 263 has added new definitions related to the funeral services industry, such as terms for "cremains," "cremation," and "crematory." These changes clarify important concepts in the Funeral Services Act, which helps ensure that everyone in the industry is on the same page about what these terms mean. This matters because a clearer understanding of these definitions can lead to better regulations and practices in funeral services, ultimately improving the service provided to families during difficult times.
