The recent amendment to Bill SB 398 introduces a requirement for early screening and intervention specifically for students showing signs of dyslexia. This change is significant because it aims to identify and support students with dyslexia earlier in their education, helping them to overcome challenges and succeed academically. By focusing on early intervention, the bill seeks to better meet the needs of these students and potentially improve their long-term educational outcomes.
