The amendment removes specific details about the types of plans and recommendations that the statewide coordinator is expected to develop. It now emphasizes a broader focus on the statewide coordinator's role in addressing teacher needs without being too prescriptive. This change is important because it allows for flexibility in how the coordinator can approach the issue, which could lead to more effective and tailored solutions for improving teacher recruitment and retention in New Mexico's public schools.
