The revised version of Bill SB 511 includes new sections that establish the "Industrial Revenue Bond Act," which aims to support local governments in promoting industry and trade. Notably, the language specifying the act's purpose has been clarified, detailing that it will facilitate projects that attract manufacturing and commercial enterprises to New Mexico. This change is significant because it aims to bolster economic growth by making it easier for local governments to invest in initiatives that encourage industry expansion.
