Plain-language change summary

The recent changes to House Memorial 74 include adding more details about Henry Kiki Saavedra's contributions and significance, while removing references to the original sponsors of the bill from 2019. This matters because it helps to better highlight Saavedra's legacy and connection to the university, reinforcing the case for honoring him by renaming the golf pavilion. The bill aims to recognize individuals who have made significant contributions to the New Mexico community and support the university's mission.
