The updated version of SB 404 introduces a provision for three-year certification for registry identification cards under the Lynn and Erin Compassionate Use Act. This means that qualified patients and primary caregivers will now have a longer duration before needing to renew their identification cards. This change simplifies the renewal process and provides patients with more stability in accessing their needed medical cannabis without the annual hassle of re-certification.
