Plain-language change summary

The amendments to Bill HB 81 establish new limits on how much individuals can be charged for physical rehabilitation services under group health coverage. Specifically, the changes ensure that any cost-sharing for these services cannot exceed what a person pays for primary care services, either as a percentage of coinsurance or as a fixed co-pay. This is important because it aims to make access to necessary rehabilitation services more affordable for individuals, ultimately improving their recovery and quality of life.
