The recent amendment to SB 98 adds new protections for information related to the commercial aerospace industry under the Inspection of Public Records Act. This change is significant because it aims to safeguard sensitive business information, which can encourage growth and investment in the aerospace sector. By clearly defining certain terms and enhancing privacy protections, the amendment helps strike a balance between public transparency and the need to protect proprietary information.
