Plain-language change summary

The updated version of Bill HM 94 now includes additional lines requesting that a task force be extended to continue studying and recommending policy changes aimed at improving resources for grandparents who are raising their grandchildren. This adjustment highlights a recognition of ongoing challenges identified in a previous study from 2014, which showed a lack of support for these grandparents, especially those without legal custody. The extension of the task force emphasizes the legislature's commitment to finding solutions and providing necessary assistance, which is crucial for the well-being of both the grandparents and the children they care for.
