Plain-language change summary

The recent amendments to SB 19 establish clearer rules for guardians and conservators regarding the management of funds for individuals under their care. Specifically, the changes require that any money or investments held for a protected person must be kept in separate accounts, preventing the mixing of these funds with the guardian's or conservator's personal assets. This matters because it enhances financial accountability and protects the interests of vulnerable individuals by ensuring their assets are managed transparently and safely.
