Plain-language change summary

The revised version of HB 875 removes a specific provision that allowed for certain complex purchases not exceeding $500,000. This change means that now, purchases of that magnitude may face different requirements, likely tighter bidding or procurement processes. This matters because it could impact how public agencies acquire large items or services, possibly increasing competition and transparency in spending taxpayer money.
