Plain-language change summary

The updated version of Bill SB 3025 increases the overall funding from approximately $222.16 million to about $234.21 million. It also raises the specific funding for mental health initiatives from approximately $18.95 million to $20.95 million. These changes are significant because they allocate more resources for drug education and mental health services, which can help address critical community health issues. Additionally, the total authorized positions remain the same, ensuring that existing programs can continue to operate effectively despite the increased funding.
