The bill SB 2841 has been updated to change the expiration date of a specific section from June 30, 2026, to June 30, 2025. This means that the provisions outlined in that section will now end a year earlier than originally planned. This change is significant because it may impact how long certain programs or benefits can be offered, potentially creating a stronger sense of urgency for lawmakers to address or renew these measures before the new deadline.
