The amended bill now includes updated eligibility requirements for the Comprehensive Health Insurance Plan Act. Specifically, it clarifies that individuals who have been denied individual health insurance due to health reasons, or who were offered insurance at rates significantly higher than the plan rate, become eligible for the plan. This change is important because it expands access to health insurance for those who may have previously struggled to secure coverage, ensuring that more residents can receive necessary healthcare.
